Julius Leon Pennington

Julius Leon "J.L." Pennington, age 80 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Winnsboro. J.L. was born on September 2, 1934 in Dalhart to the late Elvie Julius and Helen Wagner Pennington. He achieved the rank of Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Marines; he later worked in law enforcement, and retired as the Wood County Constable for Precint 4. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brian Ray Pennington, and one sister. He is survived by his wife Margaret Cline Pennington of Winnsboro; two sons, Bruce Wayne Pennington, and Victor Lee Pennington; and daughter, Pamela Jo Gallespie.
