Born on November 28, 1978, in Lubbock, Texas, Justin was the beloved son of Kathy Clark and the late Richard W. Clark. He grew up with strong values of integrity, service, and compassion-principles that guided his life and career.
A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Justin was a member of the Corps of Cadets, Company H-1 "Raiders," and earned dual degrees in biochemistry and genetics. He went on to attend the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, where he earned his medical degree in 2006.
Justin's lifelong commitment to service led him to a distinguished career in the United States Navy Medical Corps. Commissioned as an Ensign in 2002 under the Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program, he rose through the ranks to Commander in 2019. His service included assignments at naval hospitals in Bremerton, Okinawa, San Diego, and Camp Pendleton, as well as a deployment to the NATO Trauma Hospital in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Following his active-duty service, Justin continued to serve in the Navy Reserves and worked as a Diagnostic Radiologist at St. James Hospital in Butte.
Justin cherished his sons, Finley and Nels, who were the center of his world. Together they shared countless adventures outdoors-hiking, camping, and exploring the Montana wilderness. His devotion to his boys, his family, his patients, and his colleagues was unwavering.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sons, Finley and Nels; his mother, Kathy Clark; and his sister, Amy Blake.
