Karen Ann Tinney (Tinney)

Karen Ann Tinney, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on June 27, 2024, in Tyler, Texas. Born on March 3, 1966, to Roger Tinney and Mary Grimsley. She brought joy and light into the lives of everyone she touched and was known for her vibrant personality and her many talents, having a passion for poetry, painting, and reading, excelling in each of these hobbies and inspiring those around her with her creativity and love for the arts.

Karen graduated from high school in Detroit, Michigan, where she was cherished for her bright and engaging demeanor. Her friendly nature shone brightly during her time working at Kroger’s, where she was well known for her warm interactions with customers and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued.

Karen is survived by her loving mother and stepfather, Mary Lynn and Ron Bublitz; her sister and brother-in-law Susan and Lance Shirley, sister Summer Blair, and brothers Lance and Chance Tinney. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her. Karen was preceded in death by her father Roger Tinney.
