Kary Mark Pack

Kary Mark Pack, 59, stepped into heaven on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021 with family by his side. On June 10, 1961 Mark was born to JE Pack and Jacqueline (Jackie) Burton in Roswell, NM. He married his bride, Donna Brim on July 24, 1982 in Roswell, NM. They have 2 sons. First and foremost, Mark loved God and sharing His love. His family, fishing and the Dallas Cowboys came next. Mark had an undeniable laugh and a great sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh. His one-liners are legendary. “wherever you go…there you are.” Mentor, friend, Pac-Man and “legend of Lake Fork” are words spoken about Mark. He was a professional fishing guide for Lake Fork for many years. He loved fishing! He was able to make a living of his passion. Mark’s professional career was over 10 years between the Bassmaster Elites and the FLW Tours where he fished over 100 professional tournaments and achieved 12 Top 10 finishes, 3 Title appearances and 2 tour victories. In 2013 he continued innovating lures and bringing them to the bass fishing industry with M-Pack Lures. His innovation was the M-Pack Jig and the M-Pack Shad Mark is survived by his wife, Donna Pack of Mineola, TX; sons, Jason & Ana Pack of Paris, TX, Joshua Pack, Mineola, TX; mother Jackie Burton, Roswell, NM; In-Laws- Glenn & Ruth Brim of Roswell, NM; brothers, Jamie & Lori Pack of Roswell, NM, Tony Bartlett of Peaster, TX; sisters, Lyndia & Jimmy Meeks of Roswell, NM, Ellene & Rick Cunningham of Bridgeport, TX, Gina Hall of Roswell, NM, Dawn & Don Strait of Peaster, TX ; brother-in-law-Scott & Angela Brim of Roswell, NM; sister-in-law-Debra & Scott Stapleton of Colorado Springs, CO; nieces, Amber & John Dollar of Roswell, NM, Kiersten & Jeff Lynn of Roswell, NM, Ayrin Meeks of Roswell, NM, Christia & Shane Cowen of Poolville, TX, Kristen Veretto of Colorado Springs, CO; nephews, Randy & Krystal Whited of Paradise, TX, Alex & Theresa Meeks of Scottsdale, AZ., Andrew Meeks & fiancé Brittany McNamara of Phoenix, AZ, Cody Cunningham and fiancé Cheyenne Fox of Springtown, TX; great nieces-Brooklyn & Brielle Dollar of Roswell, NM, Kadince & Kabella Whited, Makayla Caple of Paradise, TX; great nephews, Eli, Noah & Luke Lynn of Roswell, NM, Jace & Quinten Cowen of Poolville, TX, Blaze Dollar of Roswell, NM and numerous cousins. Mark is preceded in death by his father, JE Pack. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
