Kathleen Luise Martz

Kathleen "Kay" Louise Reuter Martz, age 89, died Friday, June 24, 2011 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born on Saturday, January 28, 1922 in Yale, Oklahoma to the late Otto Carl and Donna Fay Reuter.

Originally from Oklahoma, Kay and her husband Ken raised their family in Dallas. They retired to Holly Lake Ranch in 1988. She lived in The Woodlands, Texas for the last three years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Kenneth W. Martz.

She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Furr of Conroe, Texas; a son Gary Martz and wife Cathy of Lufkin, Texas; grandsons Mark Furr and wife Kim of Elkridge, Maryland, Craig Furr and wife Lisa of Pearland, Texas and Kevin Martz and wife Lindsay of Ft. Worth, Texas; granddaughter, Stacey Martz of Bryan, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brian, Courtney and Ashley Furr; Abigail and Lauren Furr; and Allison Martz; and a sister, Theola and husband H. L. "Barney" Munson of San Angelo, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at Holly Tree Chapel in Hawkins, Texas on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Louis Gant officiating.
