**Obituary for Kelly Renee Prentiss**
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kelly Renee Prentiss on May 27, 2026, at the age of 50. Born on June 10, 1975, in Denver, Colorado, Kelly moved to Texas, seven years ago, finding a sense of home and bringing her vibrant spirit and warmth to the community.
Kelly was a beloved wife to her husband, Paul Prentiss, and a devoted mother to her daughters, Samantha Morin, Maeghan Rossin, and Haley Petrack. She also leaves behind her cherished mother, Patricia Rossin, and her brothers, Phil, Jerry, and Lonnie Rossin. Kelly's love extended to her grandchildren: Kaiden Rossin, Oliverko Cizek, Nikolai Morin, Elijah Morin, and Paisleigh Rossin, with whom she shared countless joyful moments.
Professionally, Kelly worked at ELS Surveying and Mapping in Bullard, Texas, where her colleagues knew her for her unwavering dedication and vibrant personality. Outside of work, Kelly found joy in many simple pleasures-whether shopping, getting her nails done, or enjoying time camping with Paul. She had a passion for her tattoos, her beloved Mercedes, and playing slots at the casino, and she embraced every moment with enthusiasm and laughter.
Above all, Kelly's greatest love was for her children and grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she relished every chance to create memories with them.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on June 5, 2026, at 11:00 am at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Mineola. Family and friends are invited to join together to celebrate Kelly's remarkable life, sharing stories and supporting one another during this difficult time. In the spirit of Kelly's love for community and connection, we encourage attendees to bring photographs or memories that capture her vibrant essence.
Kelly will be forever remembered for her loving heart, joyful spirit, and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Kelly was preceded in death by her father Richard Rossin.
