Kenneth Dwane Blocker

Kenneth Dwane Blocker, 80, of Mineola, TX passed away on April 9, 2021, in Mineola, TX. He was born on September 15, 1940 in Denton County, TX to Willie Lee and Cora Mae Blocker. Mr. Blocker was a member of the Quitman, TX Masonic Lodge, was a lifetime member of the NRA, member of the Winnsboro Gun Club and enjoyed hunting and trap shooting. He was very proud to have served in 2001-2 as Municipal Judge of Talty, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dalton Blocker. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sydney; son, Zachary Blocker of Frisco, TX; daughter, Cheryl Derryberry and husband Don of Plano, TX; brother, Ernest Blocker and wife Sue of Burleson, TX. Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, April, 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola. TX. In lieu of flowers, family request donations can be made to the Shriner's International in his memory
