Kenneth Lee Carr

Kenneth Lee Carr, age 79, died on Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Tyler, Texas.

He was born on Wednesday, August 9, 1933 in Golden, Texas to the late Lee and Liddie Carr. He was a supervisor for Trinidad Benham and a member of Golden United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Mineola Optimist Club and a volunteer with the American Red Cross. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Eddy Carr.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Carr of Mineola, Texas; two sons, Kenneth Ray Carr of Keller, Texas and Joe Carr of Golden, Texas; a sister Shirley Sharp of Tyler; and two grandchildren, Amari Carr and Kenley Carr.

Visitation for Mr. Carr will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola from 10 - 11 AM.

A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Pickens officiating.
