Kenneth Childs Hill

August 4, 1938 — July 9, 2020

Mr. Kenneth Hill, age 81 of Winnsboro, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 in Sulphur Springs. He was born on August 4, 1938 in Los Angeles to the late Kenneth Hill and Irene Luhdorff Hill. He was a retired entrepreneur who started his own metal stamping and fabrication business. Mr. Hill served in the U.S. Airforce for 4 years as a weatherman. He was a caring man who loved animals, evidenced by the number of rescues he brought home to his wife. He was a great father and an even better grandfather who inspired his grandchildren to be good people. His son, Steve, inherited his love of motorsports and Ken was devoted to helping him succeed in dirt bike races across the United States. He had a great love of traveling, having visited countries all over the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Kathy Hill of Winnsboro; son, Stephen Hill and his wife, Xochilt of Trophy Club; daughter, Sandra Michout and her husband, Alain of Coppell; brother, Howard Hill of Hawaii; five grandchildren, Zack Hill, Tyler Hill, Sophia Hill, Shannon Michout and Michael Michout.
