Kenneth Ray Stokley, 91, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on January 1, 2025.
Born November 30, 1933, in Winnsboro, Texas, to Garner H. Stokley and Clara M. Jones Stokley, Kenneth grew up in Fort Worth before returning to his hometown in 1981. He dedicated his career to the grocery industry, serving as a respected manager in Winnsboro.
A member of Pine Street Baptist Church in Winnsboro, Kenneth was a man of faith. He was also an avid outdoorsman, finding joy in hunting and fishing.
Above all else, Kenneth cherished his wife, Rowena Stokley, whom he married on February 17, 1953. Their love story spanned many decades, and he will be deeply missed.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rowena, and his sister, Margaret King; brothers, Manuel (Butch)Stokley and Donald Stokley
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Wayne Stokley of Winnsboro, Texas; his daughter, Anita Gustafson and husband John of Aledo, Texas; and his cherished grandsons, Sam Gustafson, Grant Gustafson, and Kyle Gustafson.
