Kenneth R Walker

Kenneth Ray Walker, age 88, of Mineola, Texas, died Sunday, August 17, 2008, in Tyler, Texas. He had been a resident of Mineola since 1994 moving from Dallas, Texas. He was a Baptist and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mineola. He served in the Army during WWII. He was the son of the late James Walker and the late Lenorah (Brock) Walker. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Adile Walker in 1981; one son, Michael Walker; one grandson, Keith Prokop; and two brothers, Earl Walker and James Walker. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Margery Walker of Mineola, Texas; two daughters, Jane Prokop of Malakoff, Texas and Sharon Kay Hubbard and husband Hugh of Ft.Worth, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Margie Ruth Mills and Edwin of Greenville, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Rhonda McPherson and husband Duncan of Weatherford, Texas, Christopher Hubbard of Ft. Worth, Texas, Marcus Hubbard of Ft. Worth, Texas and Nathan and wife Jackie of Florida; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
