Kenneth Ray Wilkins

Kenneth Ray Wilkins, 57, of Hawkins, TX passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 in Tyler, TX. He was born on January 5, 1964 in Denton, TX to his parents George Frank Wilkins Jr. and Donna Sue Wilkins. Kenny was a Certified Peace Officer in Texas for twenty-six years and a Firefighter for thirty-one years. Kenny was a member of Summit Heights Fellowship in Hawkins, TX and a member of the Firefighters Association. He graduated in 1982 from Nashville High School in Nashville, AR. Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors with family. He is preceded in death by his father, George Frank Wilkins Jr, and brother, Kevin Wilkins. He is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Theresa Wilkins of Hawkins, TX; mother, Donna Sue Wilkins of Hawkins, TX; daughter Shiela Horton (Brandon) of Ponder, TX; sons McGuire Wilkins of The Colony, TX, Colin Tipton (Kayla) of Lewisville, TX; daughter Kristi Yacho (Emmanuel) of Fort Worth, TX; son Trace Wilkins of Forney, TX; sister, Rhonda Phillips (Steve) of Hawkins, TX; Theresa Wilkins (Kevin) of Hawkins, TX; grandchildren, Blythe Horton and Sage Horton. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Summit Heights Fellowship Church, Hawkins, TX. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, September 10, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Summit Heights Fellowship, Hawkins, TX. Interment will follow at Hawkins City Cemetery.
