Kevin Joe Hand

Kevin Joe Hand was born on November 12, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to Virginia Henson Hand and Billy Joe Hand. He went to be with the lord on November 13, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grand parents, Joe Bailey and Sedora Hand of Garland, and maternal grandparents, Floyd Lamar and Imogene Henson of Winnsboro.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Billy Joe Hand and Virginia Hand, both of Winnsboro; one daughter, Kandice Lee Hand of Winnsboro; a sister and brother-in-law, Gina Lee and Mike Gibson of Winnsboro; two nephews, Mitch and Jace Gibson; he is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends and extended family.

Kevin was a 1980 graduate of Winnsboro High School, and was employed by Henson Pipeline Maintenance of Winnsboro. He was baptized on June 13, 1993 and attended the Thomas Road Baptist Church.

Kevin Joe will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and the ability to make you laugh over the simple issues of life. He loved hunting and fishing, but the most important, and precious thing in his life, was his family and friends, all whom will greatly miss him.
