Kimberly Sue King

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly Sue King, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, who left us peacefully on June 5, 2026, at the age of 63. Kimberly was born- on October 21, 1962, in Eastland, Texas, and throughout her life, she brought joy and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Kim married Mike King on July 25, 1981, and a love story began. After dating for about 3 years at a young age, their life began as husband and wife, and if you knew Mike and Kim, arguing was a daily thing. With all marriages lots of ups and downs. After seven years, they were blessed with a great surprise, Lee! He was so spoiled because they wanted a child so badly! Well, God said don't ask for just anything because his sense of humor is pretty good. With Lee being 18 months old, they were so blessed with Kyle!

Kim's journey led her through various Texas cities, including Fort Worth, Arlington, and finally to Winnsboro, where she made her home. As a devoted homemaker, she poured her love into creating a nurturing environment for her family. Her greatest treasures were her grandchildren-Kyleigh, Kaiden, Daniel, Addison, Harmony, and Stetson-who brought her immeasurable joy and cherished moments. Kim's love of life shone brightly in everything she did, from traveling with her husband Mike, to her enthusiastic shopping adventures.

Kim is survived by her loving husband, Mike King; sons, Lee King and wife, Sheila, Kyle King and wife, Brittney; brother, Darrell Measures and wife, Angie; her father, Clem Measures; sister, Tina Dublin and husband, Robert, and father-in-law, Robert King, along with several nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, unwavering kindness, and the laughter she brought to her family and friends.

In celebration of Kim's remarkable life, we invite you to join us for the following services: Visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, June 8, 2026 at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro, offering friends and family a time to share memories and stories. The funeral service will be held on June 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM, also at the Beaty Funeral Home Chapel, where we will gather to honor Kim's legacy. Following the service, her final resting place will be Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro.

In this time of reflection, we celebrate the life of Kimberly Sue King, a woman whose memory will forever fill our hearts with love and gratitude. May her spirit shine brightly in the memories we hold dear.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Measures, and mother-in-law, Margret King.
