Laina Elizabeth Wanttie

Laina EIizabeth Wanntie, 51, of Mineola, passed away on August 30. Born on February 9, 1971 in Dallas, Laina moved to Mineola in 2002 in order to raise her kids in a small town.

After graduating Valedictorian from Education & Social Services Magnet in 1989, Laina went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree, followed by a Master's Degree from Amberton University. She worked for UPS for almost 30 years and was currently happily employed at MSC Industrial Supply as a Key Account Sales Consultant.

Laina loved helping and serving others. She volunteered on the media team every Sunday at her church for over 10 years. She and her daughter volunteered at the local food bank and various other community organizations. Laina truly had a heart of gold. She was well known for her love and passion for her children and her family.

Laina is survived by son JT Brust, daughter Sarah Brust, mom Susie Riggs, twin sisters Heather Morgan and Jennifer Tiner, brothers Charles Hodges and David Hodges, sister Casey Riggs, four nieces and five nephews.
