Larry John Gushwa

Mineola resident, Larry John Gushwa, was reunited with his mother, Edith Morgan, father, John Gushwa, and his granddaughter, Elle Gushwa, on August 30, 2014.

Larry was born and raised in Hobbs, New Mexico. He later moved to Virginia where he had three sons. He worked for General Motors for twenty years, until moving to Texas to be closer to his family. He was blessed with another son, and retired to Mineola. He spent the remainder of his years enjoying the company of his family.

He is survived by his sons, Larry, Danny, Jamie, Marcelo; his daughters-in-law, Jenna and Elizabeth; along with grandchildren, Mason, Tre, Austin, Brionna, Colton and Alexander and his brothers and sisters, Judy, Jerry, Wanda, Roy, Linda, and Martha.

We will be saying our final goodbyes at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on September 4, 2014. Visitation will be at 9:00 AM with services at 10:00 AM and graveside immediately following.
