Larry Thomas Huckabee

Larry Thomas Huckabee, 61, grabbed the hand of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 6, 2021. Mr. Huckabee was born on September 18, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, to Dan Huckabee and Hazel Barnhart Hunt. Larry grew up in Dallas and worked a number of years as the maintenance supervisor for apartment complexes. He loved to tear things apart and put them back together from a young age. Larry was a quiet person, however, if he needed to express his feelings a letter would be written the length of a novel. He had a fondness for taking care of animals and cheering his favorite football teams on t.v. Mr. Huckabee was preceded in death by his father Dan Huckabee and brother Randy Huckabee. Larry is survived by his mother Hazel Barnhart Hunt; daughters Tonya Wheelington Uccach and Diane Huckabee; sisters Linda Putman and Debra Green; brother Marty Huckabee and 3 grandchildren. The family receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Beaty Funeral Home-Mineola from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 12th in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home and interment to follow at Golden Cemetery.
