Larry Truman Reneau

Larry Truman Reneau, 76, and life long resident of Winnsboro, joined the faithful in Heaven on October 31, 2021. Larry was born on March 1, 1945, in Winnsboro, to the late Vern Truman and Norene (Smith) Reneau. He married the love of his life Shirley (Cherry) Reneau, and the two of them shared 55 wonderful years together as husband and wife. Mr. Reneau was a member of Tinney Chapel United Methodist Church. He retired from Pilgrims Pride, however, he never stopped working. Larry was always planting and growing something in the garden. Folks around here would tell you he had the best tasting cantaloupe. He grew tomatoes, watermelon, and a wide arrange of other fruits and vegetables. Larry also found time to harvest honey and sell it by the jar to the Winnsboro community. If not working, you might find Larry in front of the television enjoying the old old Westerns. Mr. Reneau is preceded in death by his parents and sister Bennie Neighbors. He is survived by his wife Shirley Reneau; daughter, Renee LeCousin and husband Arnaud; grandchildren, Ingrid and Ines LeCousin; brother, Rickey Reneau and wife Cindy; brother-in-law, Don Neighbors; and host of many other family. A celebration of Larry's life will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
