Larry Vincent Richey

Mr. Larry Vincent Richey, age 84 of Mineola, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 in Tyler. He was born on April 25, 1936 in Mineola to the late Homer Richey and Gladys Thompson Richey. He was a Foreman for Trane Air in Tyler for 42 years and member of First Baptist Church of Mineola. He was a former board member for the Wood County Conservation League, Served on the Mineola ISD School Board and was a deacon at First Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, June Richey of Mineola; daughters, Diane Richey of Palm Desert, California and Shelly Whitney and husband, John of Mineola; two grandchildren, Paige Clark and husband Forrest and Blake Whitney, one great grandchild Hadley Clark, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at First Baptist Church - Mineola 204 N. Johnson St. Mineola, Texas 75773 at 2:00 pm, Dr. Mark Neeley conducting, interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Mineola, with Mark McClanahan, Christopher McClanahan, Jerry Graves, Donny Crenshaw, Jerry Scoggins, and Wayne Richey serving as pallbearers.
