Lela Elizabeth Fisher

Mrs. Lela Elizabeth Fisher passed away on Monday, November 12, 2007 at the age of 48. She was born on August 15, 1959 to Mr. Jerry Maxton and Lou Gene Gandy Maxton. Mrs. Fisher married Mr. Jeff Fisher on April 2, 1982. Mrs. Fisher graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and then recieved her Master's of Education from East Texas State University. She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Winnsboro and served as the Dean of Students for the Rains I.S.D. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her sister Debra and her father, Mr. Jerry Maxton. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Jeff Fisher of Winnsboro; daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Daniel Miller of Van; son, Robert Fisher of Winnsboro; brother, David Maxton of Mt. Vernon; mother, Lou Gene Maxton of Mt. Vernon; mother and father-in-law, Grady and Sandy Fisher of Winnsboro.
