Lela Faye Hamm

Mrs. Lela Faye Hamm passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the age of 90. She was born on March 3, 1917 to the late Thomas Newton Dickey and Pearly Pauline Dickson Dickey. Mrs. Hamm was a lifetime resident of Winnsboro and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church where she served in many areas, and was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels Organization. Mrs. Hamm was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Woodrow Hamm on October 1, 1994 and by her brother, Elvis Nolan Dickey on February 2, 1930. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James D. and Sue Hamm of Winnsboro; sister-in-law, Oma Faye Hamm of Springfield, MO; two grandchildren, Connie Nichols and Joey and Joanie Hamm; and by five great grandchildren
