Lena Fay Whittiker

Mrs. Lena Fay Whittiker, age 93 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in Winnsboro. She was born on April 10,1927 in Winnsboro, Texas. Mrs. Whittiker was a member of Little Hope Baptist Church for over 70 years and served as church Secretary for many years. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and Woodmen of the World. She was owner and operator for Whittiker's Gas and Grocery, Whittiker's Fabrics and served as Justice of the Peace for Precinct 3 in Wood County. She was preceded in death by parents John and Rona Gore Bradshaw, husband J.M. "Red" Whittiker, son, Ronnie Whittiker; brothers Joe, Sam, Everett, Comy, and Marvin Bradshaw; sister Cliffie Weems, son-in-law Eddie Green, daughter-in-law, Cherie Whittiker. She is survived by, daughters, Rose Mary Harrell and husband Ricky, son Stanley Whittiker, daughter, Wanda Green, daughter-in-law Karen Whittiker; eight grandchildren, Russell Whittiker and wife Lindsay, Amanda Foust and husband Ben, Clint Whittiker and wife Holli, Randy Harrell and wife Rachelle, Cody Whittiker and wife Katie, Danny Green and wife Lydia, Krystal Coleman and husband Ryan, and Heather Hogue and husband Bobby; fifteen great grandchildren, Ethan Whittiker, Jacob Whittiker, Tyler Whittiker, Hanna Whittiker, Raeanne Whittiker, Landon Coleman, Bentley Whittiker, Abeni Whittiker, Rayanna Harrell, Lincoln Hogue, Molly Green, Daphne Green, Macie Whittiker, Kaylee Whittiker, and Lucas Coleman. The family receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 19th in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. No service will occur at the graveside. The family requests all who attend to please wear a mask.
