Leona Joyce Deere

Leona Joyce Deere, 55, of Scroggins passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler. Leona was born in Clovis, New Mexico on February 8, 1960 to Leon Webb and Frances Howell Webb. She worked as a Safety Representative for Joy Global in Longview, and was a member of Clearwater Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Walter Deere. She is survived by her mother, Frances Webb of Scroggins; father, Leon Webb and wife Sharon of Longview; daughter, Arien Thornbrue and husband Joe of Lewisville; brother Franklin Webb and wife Brenda of Thornton; sister, Peggy Hendrix and husband Greg of Scroggins; and three grandchildren, Cristian Molina, and Aaliyah and Chloe Thornbrue. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Clearwater Baptist Church with visitation starting one hour before.
