Les C. Mallory

Leslie Carter Mallory, born April 21, 1964, embarked on his new journey in the afterlife on August 9, 2024. A man who lived life with unparalleled zest, Les cherished his family and friends deeply and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Les was a proud graduate of Mineola High School and devoted his professional life to Mallory Propane, the family business in Mineola. His greatest joy, however, came from being a father to his beloved daughter Malta and a devoted companion to his four-legged friend, Lugnut.

Les was preceded in death by his father, Stanley O. Mallory, and his brother, Marty Mallory. He is survived by his loving mother, Ernestine Holland Mallory; his daughter Malta Cohen and her husband Moti; and his cherished granddaughter Emma Lilly Cohen and grandson Idan David Cohen. He is also remembered with love by his sisters Dawn Dobbs and her husband Danny, and Angela Moreland and her husband Grant.

A graveside service to honor Les's memory will be held on Friday, August 16, at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Gardens in Mineola.
