Lila Lee Gaumer

Lila Lee McKenzie Gaumer, age 77 of Dallas passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Lee was born in Quitman on January 15, 1933 to the late James F. and Zora "Trixie" Hutchins McKenzie. She worked as a Petroleum Landman for numerous oil producers, was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Quitman. Lee is survived by her three children; Christie Gaumer of Los Angeles, CA., Craig Gaumer of Dallas, Cari Gaumer Roberts and husband Doug of Dallas; three grandchildren, Justin Gaumer, Ashlee Roberts, Alec Roberts; and her dog, Lizzy. Lee was the greatest inspiration to her three children, three grandchildren and her pets. She, by far was the best mother God ever graced this world with. Visitation will be held Friday, February 19, 2010 from 6pm to 8pm at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2pm at the First United Methodist Church in Quitman, with burial following in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Alba, TX.Arrangements under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home of Winnsboro, 816 W.
