Lillian Theresa Jones

Lillian Theresa Jones, age 83, died Monday, March 4, 2013 in Galveston, Texas. She was born on Saturday, October 19, 1929 in Manhattan, New York to the late Virgil and Amelia Gimino. She was a Homemaker and a very active member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Mineola, Texas where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was the type of person that angels would stop dead in their tracks, to hear her speak.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Durward Jones; son, Durward Jones, Jr.; four brothers; and three sisters.

She is survived by three sons, Anthony Jones and wife Lila of Galveston, Michael Jones and wife Janet of Wylie, Texas, Andrew Jones and wife Roxanne of Roanoke, Texas; two daughters, Linda Wilcoxson and husband Ed of Tyler, Texas, Patricia Buckaloo and husband Billy of Sparta, Tennessee; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

A Rosary for Ms. Jones will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Mineola on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 1:00 PM

Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola.
