Linda Kaye Alley

Mrs. Linda Kaye Alley, age 76 formerly of Mineola and Irving, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 in Tyler. She was born on November 18, 1944 in Wichita Falls to the late R.J. Clontz and Mary Lamb Clontz.
Linda was a Secretary and Professional Aide for the Irving and Mineola Independent School Districts. She was a former member of The First United Methodist Church of Mineola and Grace Community Church in Lindale. She was past president of the Christians Women's Fellowship in Garland while a member of Western Heights Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Alley in December, 2011.
Survivors include her sons, Steven G. Shanks and wife, Deborah of Yantis and Jason P. Shanks and wife, Gina of Garland; brother, Randle L. Clontz and sister, Carolyn Owens; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Beaty Funeral Home at 5:00 pm. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola, with Jacob Shanks, Daniel Shanks, Bradley Shanks, Lane Vickery, Phillip Fisher, Russell Templeton serving as pallbearers.
