Linda Faye Rich, 80, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away on January 17, 2025. She was born on March 20, 1944, in Houston, Texas, to Thomas Foley Johnson and Alva Lucille Toten Johnson.

Linda grew up in Houston and dedicated her life to being a loving wife and homemaker. Her passion for singing in church brought joy and inspiration to many, reflecting her deep faith and love for her community.

On July 14, 1967, she married the love of her life, Duane Robert Rich. They shared a beautiful life together until his passing on September 4, 2021.

Linda’s legacy lives on through her devoted family. She is survived by her daughter, Gay Nord; her son, Robert Rich; her brothers, James William Johnson and John Allen Johnson; and her cherished grandchildren, Seth Rich, Jared Rich, Noah Rich, and Rebekah Rich. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Duane, and her brother, Thomas Milton Johnson.

Linda will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
