Linda Lou Tipton

Mrs. Linda Lou Tipton of Mineola, Texas passed away January 3, 2007 at the age of 81. She was born October 3, 1925 in Advance, Missouri to the late Boyd Jenkins and the late Lucy (Drumm) Jenkins. She lived in Mineola since December 1985 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She retired from the Wellsville, Missouri ISD as a school teacher. She was a member of the PEO Club, the 20th Century Club, and was a avid Bridge Player as well as a wonderful wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bill Tipton of Mineola; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Jim Baxter of Huron, Ohio; brother, Thornton Jenkins of Columbia, Missouri; sister, Bonne Jean McFarland of Columbia, Missouri; and grandson, Neil Walton of Denver, Colorado.
