Lisa Ann Byars, born on September 16, 1964, in Winnsboro, Texas, passed away on July 7, 2024. Lisa was the beloved daughter of James Byars and the late Florence Perry Byars.
Lisa dedicated her career to the care and comfort of others, working diligently as a Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor at Whispering Pines Care Center in Winnsboro, Texas. Her commitment to her work and the well-being of those around her was unparalleled. Lisa was known for her strong work ethic and her genuine love for taking care of others.
Outside of her professional life, Lisa cherished spending time with her grandbabies. Whether it be sports or just hanging out, they were the light of her life.
She also recently got to enjoy a trip with her friends, whether it was work or her personal life, she always went above and beyond. In recent years she was the happiest she had ever been. Being a Gigi was the most important title she carried.
Lisa is survived by her father, James Byars; her daughter, Crystal Murphy; her son, Michael Romine; her sisters, Nancy Moore and Brenda Hammond; and her three adored grandchildren, Rance Patrick, Hynzlee Patrick, and Oaklynn Patrick. She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Byars.
Lisa's legacy of love, dedication, and care will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Rest in peace, Lisa. Your kindness and dedication touched many lives, and you will forever be remembered with love.
