Lois Nelson

Mrs. Lois Nelson, age 81 of Grand Saline, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020 in Tyler. She was born on November 8th, 1938 in Alto, Texas to the late Forrest McGaughey and Lee Anna Gray. She was a retired truck driver, former member of the Eastern Star and member of Silverlake Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Darryl and David Johnson and one brother, Carrol McGaughey. She is survived by her sons, Rodney Nelson of Grand Saline, Michael Spencer of Garland; daughters, Stephanie Miller and her husband Rick of Mineola, Cindy Thomas of Mineola, Carla Blackburn and her husband Thomas of Sientle, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Silverlake Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11 am at the church.
