Lollis Lee Allen

Mr. Lollis Lee Allen, age 81 of Joshua passed away, Wednesday, May 7, 2008. He was born in Winnsboro on December 7, 1926 to the late Walter and Lela Alexander Allen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a retired truck driver, member of South Garland Baptist Church, and the VFW. He married Betty Carter on December 3, 1949 in Texarkana .He was preceded in death by four brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Allen of Joshua; four daughters, Cathy Whitehead of Garland, Becky Lancaster of Garland, Lydia Hutchins and husband Johnny of Mineola, Stephanie Shafer and husband Bill of Joshua; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
