Lorena Ballard

Mrs. Lorena Ballard passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the age of 91. She was born on August 18, 1916 to the late Henry Stokley and Vesta Dill Stokley. Mrs. Ballard was a Charter Member of the Pine Street Baptist Church in Winnsboro where she was very active, teaching sunday school and GA's. She was a member of the WMU, was a former cub scout leader and was a homemaker and farmer. Granny Ballard was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mr. Clarence William Ballard, two sisters and one brother, two grandsons, Chris Clay and Danny Ballard, and by two great grandchildren, Misty Monday and Christopher Monday. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, C.D. and Shirley Ballard of Winnsboro and W. Lee and Inge Ballard of Plano; daughter and son-in-law, Clarine and Buddy Briggs of Galenda, MO; grandchildren, Terry Monday Johnson, Tammy Henry, Mike Ballard, Carlene Miller, Carla Watkins and Jimmy Ballard; great grandchildren, Colter Acker, Morgan Warren, Maegan Vaughn, Mason Monday, Cassandra Briggs, Ashley Watkins, Angela Watkins, J.D. Acker, Amber Ballard, Micah Monday, John Miller and Caitlyn Miller; great great grandchildren, Faith Acker, Christian Acker, Molly Vaughn, Jesse Vaughn, Lane Warren and Macie Monday.
