Lou Jane Vandiver, age 77, formerly of Mineola, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Saturday, September 16, 1933 in Terrell, Texas to the late Durward and Lillian Melton.
She was an employee of Texas Instruments and attended Tabernacle Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Glasscock of Garland, Texas; a son, Randy Vandiver of Charlotte, North Carolina; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola.
Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Mineola on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charles Long officiating.
Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
