Louis Geremonte

Mr. Louis P. Geremonte, age 76 of Grand Saline, passed away on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 in Tyler. He was born on July 27th, 1943 in Bayonne, New Jersey to the late Jerry Geremonte and Elizabeth Geremonte. He attended His Church Ministries and was a former member of the Mineola Kiwanis Club and the Knights of Columbus Lou worked for the Teamsters Union in Teterboro, NJ for seventeen years and moved to East Texas in 1983 where he was a mechanic at Tony's Garage for several years. He was preceded in death by parents; brother, John Geremonte and sister, Marie Bickett. He is survived by his four daughters, Yvonne Geremonte of New Jersey, Nanette Geremonte of Waiane, Hawaii, Jilliyn Geremonte of Grand Saline, and Eleanor Geremonte of Grand Saline; brother, Tony Geremonte of Lindale; sister, Victoria Valentino of Rutherford, New Jersey, good friend, Margaret Rutherford of Grand Saline and two grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, September 19th, 2019 at Beaty Funeral Home with Bro. Don Flemming conducting. Interment will follow at Silver Lake Cemetery in Silver Lake, with Kevin Geremonte, Anthony Geremonte, Lou Geremonte, Bobby Madsen, Roger Graham, Joe Sigle serving as pallbearers.
