Louise Busby George, a beloved resident of Sulphur Springs, passed away at her residence on January 30, 2024. Born on July 1, 1949, in Winnsboro, Texas, Louise was the cherished daughter of Edward Arlen Busby and Ida Mae Harris Busby. At the age of 74, she departed this world surrounded by the love of family and friends.
Louise was a dedicated member of the community, a lifetime resident of the area, and a faithful worshipper at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Winnsboro. She completed her high school education in 1966 at Como-Pickton High School and went on to have a successful career, retiring after 30 years from L3 in Greenville, Texas.
Known for her zest for life, Louise had a passion for riding her motorcycle, creating lasting memories on trips to Branson, Missouri, with family and friends, and indulging in her love for shopping and reading. Her mischievous spirit endeared her to those around her, and she never shied away from a little trouble.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Arlen Busby and Ida Mae Harris Busby, and her sister Hazel Fry. She is survived by her loving son Joseph Murray, Jr., and his wife Karen, and her daughter Kelly Cox and her husband James. Louise is also survived by her brothers Charles Busby and wife Linda, Billy Busby, and Joe Bob Busby and wife Carolyn, along with sisters Betty Grace and Peggy Wilson and husband Marvin.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her four grandchildren: Corey Murray, Jennifer Lindsey Cox, Jacob Radney, and Desiree Radney. Louise is also survived by four great-grandchildren: Tyler Murray, Olivia Cox, Noah Petrea, and Molly Wyly.
