Lovie O. Woodard

Mrs. Lovie O. Woodard, age 91, a lifetime resident of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009. She was born in Wood County on September 1, 1918 to the late Oscar David and Minnie Lou Lee Pollard. She was a seamstress, a homemaker, member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Woodman of The World, Walnut Street Baptist Church, and Crusaders Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband Welton Woodard; a grandson, Michael Wilcox; son-in-law, Norman Johnson; five sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Wilcox and husband Glenn of Winnsboro, Sue Johnson of Winnsboro; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
