Lowis Adean James

Lowis Adean James, age 93, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on Thursday, August 21, 1919 in Jamestown, Texas to the late Robert and Virgie Adkins. She was a Homemaker and attended South Main Church of Christ in Lindale, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert James; a brother, T. J. Adkins; a sister, Robbie Edwards; and a grandson, Kerry Lewallen.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth McGuire of Mineola, Texas; a brother, Bruce Adkins and wife Shirley of Mt. Sylvan, Texas; a sister in law, Jessie Weaver of Quitman, Texas; four grandchildren, Michael Lewallen and wife Jackie, John McGuire and wife Lisa, Lisa Simmons, and Scott McGuire and wife Karen; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Ms. James will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 6 – 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola with Bobby McClenney and John McGuire officiating.

Interment will be at Jamestown Cemetery.
