Lucille Kepner passed away peacefully on August 13, 2015 in Dallas, TX. She was born December 6, 1919 in Chambersburg, PA to Friedrich and Edna Schleicher. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Richard (Dick) Kepner, three brothers and three sisters.
She had a wonderful life raising her children, entertaining her grandchildren, playing golf and volunteering. She was a founding member of The Holly Lake Ranch Women's Golf Association and scored two hole-in-ones in her golfing career. She was an avid bridge player but enjoyed all types of card games.
She is survived by her brother Richard Schleicher and wife Jean; daughter Nancy Schneider and husband Bob; son Jim Kepner and wife Tami; son Ed Kepner and wife Holly, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on August 29, 2015 at 11 am in the Holly Tree Chapel at Holly Lake Ranch. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Helping Hands of Hawkins, TX, The Holly Lake Ranch Women’s Golf Association or the charity of your choice.
