Mrs. Lucinda Faye Dickens, age 62, of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at her home. Lucinda was born in Cape Town, South Africa on May 9, 1952 to the late Henry J. and Magalena Johanna Klink De'Roos. She worked with the Holy Highways Girls Home in Pickton, serving as a Dorm Mother, administrator, child care worker, and Cook. She also worked at Hornbuckles Flowershop and Parkplace in Winnsboro, and was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cassandra Higgins; and a granddaughter, Joanne Devitt. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Dickens of Winnsboro; daughters and sons-in-law, Simone Devitt and husband Martin of Palmer, Linda Williams and husband Daniel of Pickton, Cindy Williams and husband Matt of Winnsboro, Holly Ritter and husband Kyle of Knoxville, TN.;sons and daughters-in-law, Chris Dickens and wife Misty of Pickton, Jeff Dickens and wife Chelsea of Quitman, Justin Dickens and wife Sierra of Holden, UT; sister, Gillian Foskett and husband Paul of England; and seventeen grandchildren, Jade, Keeley, Taylor, Jordan, Dylan, Christa, Kade, Kyndal, Kevin, Kinzie, Kelsie, Kylie, Sienna, Calvin, Carson, Kennedy, and Sawyer.
