Lucy Kizer

Mrs. Lucy Evann Quinn Kizer, age 92 of Winnsboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on November 7, 1926 in Pittsburg, Texas to the late Geslec Gay Johnson and Martha Euna Carpenter. She was preceded in death by one son, Elbert L. Quinn, one daughter, Shirley Gay Gillian, a grandson, Stephen Wallis, one brother, Hank Johnson and two sisters, Oxie Shreves and Nora Quinn. Lucy is survived by one son, Ronald Dean "R.D." Quinn and wife, Carol, one daughter, Kay Nowicki, two sisters, Miriam Mayfield and Arlene Wallace, and 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Lucy loved her Lord and spent her life serving God and others in all that she did as a nurse, mother, friend, cook, gardener and quilter. She will be missed by all her knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 29 2018 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 10:00 am, Pastor Jimmy Davis conducting, interment will follow at Como Cemetery in Como, with Michael Wallis, Timothy Quinn, Tracey Quinn, Jason Quinn, Cody Quinn serving as pallbearers.
