Lula Van Harpole, age 90, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in Grand Saline, Texas. She was born on Saturday, May 26, 1923 in Golden, Texas to the late Oscar and Lois Harpole. She was a member of Golden United Methodist Church. She volunteered with the Salvation Army in Tyler and also worked with the Mineola Caring and Sharing program.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joe Doyce Harpole and sister, Reba Harpole Jackson.
She is survived by a brother, Billy John Harpole of Golden, Texas and loving nieces and nephews and their families
