On February 6, 2022 our beautiful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend, Lynda Ann Haggard, 81 years of age of Mineola, TX, went home to be with Jesus. She was born on October 2, 1940 in Terrell TX. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Blondee and Hazel Ruth Ford, her husband of 56 years Bobby Joe Haggard, and her son in love Terry ‘Cuz’ Allen. Left to cherish her memory, her son and daughter-in-love Michael and Judy Haggard of Longview,TX, daughter Lisa Allen of Mineola, and daughter and son in love Kristi and Troy Wilmoth of Mineola, and by her adored grandchildren, Justin ‘Homer’ Allen and Jennifer of Mineola, Curtis and Callie Haggard of Carthage, North Carolina, Brittany and Josh Jackson of Mineola, Caston and Alyson Haggard of White Oak, Caylor and Rachel Haggard of Big Sandy, Manda and Jeff Barnhart of Austin, Breanna and Dalton Rogers of Tokyo, Japan, and fourteen great-grandchildren Jackson Haggard, Lane Haggard, Luke Haggard, Judson Haggard, Addison Bradshaw, Brinkley Haggard, Ruston Haggard, Jynson Haggard, Sophie Haggard, PK Haggard, Wynston Allen, Cole Jackson, Cora Allen, and Timberlyn Rogers, her treasured long time best friend, Linda Ridge of Fairfield Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the matriarch of our family, she loved every one of us dearly and most importantly her Lord and Savior. Lynda has been a member of First Baptist Church of Mineola for 60 years and cherished her Sunday School class friends. She retired from Mineola ISD in the Food Service Department in 2014 after working there for 27 years. Over the years there were many who were taught by her in Sunday school, or had her as a leader in Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts or interacted with her as president of the band boosters. She was an avid photographer, loved to travel, and make the most thoughtful scrapbooks filled with many memories throughout the years. Her house is lovingly known as the Haggard Museum and Archives and was the location of many family events over the years. There will be such a void in our lives, but we thank the Lord for blessing us with such an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. A memorial service will be held on Friday February 11th at 10 AM with graveside service to follow at Concord Cemetery with Brother Ed Ridge officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening at 6 PM to 8 PM.
