Lynda Ruth Mize, 70, of Mineola, TX died on Monday, October 13, 2014 in Tyler, TX. She was born on Thursday, December 9, 1943 in Mineola, TX to the late Earl Woodard and Hester Thomas. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Steve King; son, Mike Mize of Mineola, TX; daughter, Machelle Burnham and husband Bruce of Tyler, TX; brothers, Jody Thomas of Mineola, TX, Bobby Thomas of Pottsboro, TX, David Thomas of Mineola, TX; sister, Sarah Norris of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 10-11 AM. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM officiated by Bro. Reggie Day.
