Mabel Juanita West, age 93, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in Mineola, Texas. She was born on Wednesday, May 12, 1920 in Mineola to the late Joe and Cledie Armour.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Slim West; a son, Lanny West; two brothers; one sister; and five grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Tom West and wife Bettie of Mineola, Johnny West of Sweetwater, Texas and Jerry Lee West of Fruitvale, Texas; two daughters, Betty Cline and husband Walt of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Shirley Reed and husband Dave of Golden, Texas; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Ms. West will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Beaty Funeral Home from 6:30 – 7:30 PM.

Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Jim Parker officiating.

Interment will follow at Sand Springs Cemetery.
