Mamie Faye Whittiker, age 87 of Como, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011. She was born on June 7, 1923 in Franklin County to the late Martin L. and Johnnie Barnhill Sparks. She was a homemaker and a baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, P.R. Whittiker; two sons, Norman L. and Richard G. Whittiker; six brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by sons, Johnnie Whittiker and wife Sandra of Sulphur Springs, Larry Joe Whittiker of Dallas; two daughters, Anna Myers and husband David of Como, Shirley Carden of Pickton; one sister, Lou Dell French of Sulphur Springs; nine grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, twenty great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, Texas 75494. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery, Franklin County, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Beaty Funeral Home , 816 W. Broadway, Winnsboro, Texas.
