Marcelle Susie Thomas died Thursday, June 17, 2010 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on Tuesday, November 25, 1941 in Haslet, Texas in Tarrant County. She had lived in Hawkins, Texas since 1978, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hawkins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Harvey and Mattie Davis, and two brothers; Harvey Davis, Jr. and Bobby Davis.

She is survived by her husband; Denton Thomas of Hawkins, two sons; Jimmy Mathis of Azle, Texas and Kenneth Thomas and wife Tracy of Hawkins, one daughter; Debbie Mitchell and husband Harald of Arlington, Texas, one brother; Jimmy Davis of Ft. Worth, Texas, three sisters; Cleta Riley, Lucille Smith and Betty McCrary all of Ft. Worth, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
