Margaret L. Berry

Margaret L. Berry, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 27, 2022 at The Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, TX. She was born on February 19, 1940, in San Diego, CA. to the late Mosco Smith and Mattie Tiller Smith.
Margaret moved to Mineola in 1981. She was a cosmetologist until she retired in 1995. She always walked with God and was active in the Aglow International Ministry where she taught Bible Study. She loved her family to the fullest and saw beauty in everything. She lived for all the cute, colorful things in life and her dogs always brought a smile to her face.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son, David Berry; her brother, Leafford Smith; her sister, Leona Smith Phillips; and her sister, Shirley Smith Good. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Melendia Berry Walker; son, Daniel Berry; daughter Donna Berry Gilbreath; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for Margaret on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX.
