Margaret Marie Cooper

Mrs. Margaret Cooper, age 78 of Mineola, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 in Hawkins. She was born on March 29, 1943 in Merkel, Texas to the late Merle Ernest Owens and Dessie Baker Owens.

Mrs. Cooper was a housewife and member of New Hope Baptist Church in Mineola. She was preceded in death by her husband, Braz "Ed" Cooper and daughter, Tammy Cooper.

She is survived by her daughters, Lynda White and husband, Marshall of Hawkins and Teressia Morris and husband, Clifford of Mineola; brother, Ernie Owens of Arlington; special friend and caregiver, Angelique "Angel" Davis-Warren; three grandchildren, Derrick Morris, C.W. Morris and Dustin Haynsworth and six great grandchildren, Caden, Charli, Grayson, Anahi, Brady and Briella.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 25th, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church 3855 FM 1801 Mineola, Texas 75773 at 1:00 pm, Rev. Michael Mize conducting. Interment will follow at East Delta Cemetery in Cooper, with Caden Morris, Brady Morris, Jordan Waters, C.W. Morris, Jay Green and Dustin Haynsworth serving as pallbearers.
