Margaret Ann Snyder Wood, 82 died on December 2, 2021 at her home in Tyler, Texas after a short illness. Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home located in Mineola, Texas on Monday December 6th, 2021 from 1:00 – 3:00pm, and graveside service following at Roselawn Cemetery in Mineola, Texas. Mrs. Wood was born on September 4th, 1939 in Longview, Texas to Mark B. and Lois Marie Rowe. She worked at Robert E. Lee High School as a library aid and administrative assistant. She married husband Billy Edward Wood on January 30th, 1982, and were married for 38-years. Billy was a veteran and served in Korea. In her spare time she played online games, watched television, kept up with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and listened to music. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and husband Bill Wood. Mrs. Wood is survived by son Scott Snyder and wife Laura Snyder of Tyler, Texas, daughter Renee Wilson and husband David of Hewitt, Texas, daughter Pam Snyder-Gould and husband Lofton of Brownsboro, Texas, and son Mark Snyder of Tyler, Texas. Grandchildren Tommy Wilson, Lindsey Liberton, Madeline Snyder, Amanda Barker and husband Travis, Joseph Snyder and wife Cydney, Brad Wilson, Paul Liberton, and great grandchildren Calvin and Lincoln Barker, and a host nieces, nephews and many friends. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heart to Heart Hopice.
